Quick UpdateApril 21st, 2010 | No comments This is just a quick update to let everyone know what we have been up. Besides the normal daily stuff, the last couple of weeks have been insanely busy. We finally got our new business cards done to reflect the new look and feel of Majestic Music. The guys over at Salem Blue Printing did a great job!
We were not able to put nearly as much time into the website as we would have liked. Most of what we were able to do was some minor coding on the back end. Just some behind the scenes tweaks in the code to fix a few issues. It has also been brought to our attention that in IE (Internet Explorer) the site does not look the way it’s intended to, or as good as it does in Firefox and other browsers. We are addressing this issue. Hopefully these next couple weeks will yield more process to the site. There were also a couple of industry events that took place over the last couple weeks. They were held in Portland and during the week, but we were able to make it to both. First was a factory training event hosted by Clarion. John Wilson of Clarion did the training and it was very informative. Clarion has a good training program in place and we are very happy that we have chosen them as our source unit partner. Thanks go out to John and Geoff Smith for making it happen. The next one was less then a week later and was more of a mini CES. We were not able to attend the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that was held in Vegas this past Jan. It was nice to have someone organize one of these shows locally. For those that don’t know, CES is where all the electronics manufacturers debut the latest and greatest gadgets, car toys and new technology. We are talking everyone from Microsoft and Apple to Skull Candy headphones and everything in between. We were able to visit with about a dozen or so manufacturers, all of which were mobile electronics related. Some we used to deal with and it was nice to see what they are up to these days. As well as some we currently deal with, like our good friends over at Scosche, PAC and Select. It’s always nice to visit with other local dealers, installers and the factory reps at these types of events. Thanks go out to the guys over at Oliver Marketing, CPD and all of the below manufacturers for putting on a great show! br> You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0 Feed.
